For centuries, believers have debated one of the most profound questions found in Scripture:
**What is the true name of the Messiah?**
Is it **Jesus**? **Yeshua**? **Yahusha**? Or another form altogether?
This article is not an attempt to elevate tradition over Scripture, nor to criticize those who sincerely seek Yahuah. Rather, it is an invitation to return to the Scriptures themselves and examine the evidence with humility, diligence, and reverence.
As Paul instructed:
"Prove all things; hold fast that which is good."

❔Why Does a Name Matter?
From a Hebrew perspective, a name is never merely a label. Throughout Scripture, names reveal:

* 👑 Authority
* 🎯 Mission

When Yahuah revealed His name to Moses, He was revealing His character and His faithfulness to His covenant people (**Exodus 3:13–15**). ✨ **Yahusha:** Many advocates argue that this form most clearly preserves the divine element *"Yahu"* while expressing salvation, noting its relationship to names such as Isaiah (*Yeshayahu*). Supporters understand this name to convey: **"Yahuah is Salvation." **
❔Why Do So Many Different Names Exist?
Several historical developments contributed to the diversity of spellings and pronunciations seen today:
1. The transmission of Hebrew names into **Greek manuscripts**.
2. Later translation into **Latin**.
3. Subsequent translation into **English** and other modern languages.
4. Natural variations in **pronunciation** across cultures and centuries.
